foundation targeting the wellbeing in the working environment of the
shipping industry. The Center has its headquarters in Cyprus,
Limassol, and offices in Athens, Greece. It is an ISO 9001:2015

"Working at sea may have a range of adverse effects on mental
health. It has been associated with stress, anxiety, depression,
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suicide. In the short
term, mental distress may have a negative effect on work
performance, safety behavior and well-being. In the longer term it
may have a severe impact on a seafarer's life and on their ability
to work."
